Terms and Conditions for Discoover Machu Picchu
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Discoover Machu Picchu (the “Company”) and its customers (“Clients”). By booking a tour or using our services, Clients agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
Discoover Machu Picchu offers guided tours to Machu Picchu and other destinations in Peru, including transportation, accommodation (where applicable), meals, and guided activities. Specific services included in each tour are outlined in the tour description.
3. Booking and Payment
To book a tour, Clients must provide accurate and complete personal information. A deposit of 30% of the total tour price is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance is due 45 days before the tour departure date. Payment can be made through Paypal and Wester Union.
4. Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel their booking up to 60 days before the tour departure date for a full refund, minus a 30% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 45 days of departure will result in a 50% penalty. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of departure.
5. Changes and Modifications
Discoover Machu Picchu reserves the right to make changes to the tour itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, road closures, or availability of services. We will make reasonable efforts to notify Clients of any changes.
6. Liability
Discoover Machu Picchu accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by Clients as a result of their participation in a tour, unless caused by the Company’s negligence. Clients are responsible for their own safety and well-being.
7. Force Majeure
Discoover Machu Picchu shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, and natural disasters.
8. Insurance
Clients are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover personal accidents, medical expenses, and trip cancellations.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Discoover Machu Picchu website and marketing materials is the intellectual property of the Company.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Peru. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Peruvian courts.
